Standard Shipping Procedures
 I get phone calls and emails concerning SHIPPING. Many people say they would like to know the shipping amount before placing their order or they'd like to see shipping amount before giving out their information.
I ship MOST orders by USPS [see exceptions below]
- our shipping charges are based on USPS RATES, OR for packages over 3 pounds, I send via UPS. You are charged the actual amount that it costs me to send that order to you. I do not have my prices low just so I can 'gouge' on the shipping prices! I know you may have run into this practice on some websites, and some MAJOR sites, but we do not do that!
- I do add 50 cents to your total price of your entire order to help cover the cost of the boxes, tape, and printing paper. I pay full price for these items
- shipping charges is based entirely on YOUR zip code. So you have to enter your address to get the shipping rates.
- IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE SHIPPING PRICES YOU CAN CLOSE THE ORDER THEN AND NOONE EVER SEES ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION! NOT EVEN YOUR NAME!
- In most cases we send orders out within 48 hours of receiving them.
SHIPPING EXCEPTIONS
I have so many items in my store and they weigh anywhere between 4 ounces to 35 pounds for one item. So heavier items - OR oversize packages - are sent by UPS. Which ever is the lowest cost for you and me is how I send your order. But because of the webhost I use, I only have the USPS rate calculator installed, to install the UPS or FedEx rate calculator will be another $99.95! I cannot justify this expense. [I refuse to use Fed-Ex because of their repeated carelessness]. So I adjust the weight of heavier items, so they will better match the actual price to ship your item. If you think your order should be shipped at a lower price than what your final price is calculated at, by all means contact me and I will check it out. I am human and make mistakes just like everyone else.
